A very nice website that teaches your little one how to read is starfall.com. Quoting from the website about the content there

Adding video to school websites

Videos can be added to school websites as follows.
  1. Upload the video into a video sharing site such as http://www.youtube.com/
  2. Login to your school website with your role being teacher or school admininstrator.
  3. Open a custom page or create a new one where the video has to be placed. Click on source in the rich text editor as shown below.
  4. From the video sharing site copy the embed link.
  5. Copy the code from that embed link and paste it into the rich text editor.
  6. Save the custom page
You will now be able to view the video in the custom page.
